The company started manufacturing made to measure curtains for other retailers in the 1980's under the Richard Barrie brand, and the business has grown steadily since then. In the early 1980's, we created the Curtain Express brand and also acquired other brands such as Whiteheads, TRU Textiles and Q Designs, leading to further growth.
